The nearly 30-year veteran is being remembered as a natural-born leader, a dedicated firefighter who always looked out for others and as a proud father.

On Wednesday, hundreds lined up waiting to pay their respects during the first day of a viewing at the Givnish Funeral Home in Northeast Philadelphia.

Goodwin will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, Pa.
