Deputies search for missing disabled woman

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Osceola County Sheriff's deputies need the public's help in locating a 69-year-old disabled woman.

Cela Gonzalez was reported missing by her family on Wednesday at 2:50 p.m. The family is visiting from Texas.  They told detectives that Cela left the apartment at approximately 12:30 p.m. to take a walk but did not return.  Cela has Alzheimer's and does not speak English. She does not have any money with her and does not know anyone in the area.

Cela is described as a Hispanic woman who is approximately 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue bow, black shorts and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at (407) 348-2222 or Crimeline at (800) 423-TIPS (8477). Calls made to Crimeline remain anonymous, and tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 dollars.
