Posted: Updated:
Los Angeles, CA -

(FOX 11/CNS) This weekend is expected to be a busy one, with large crowds expected at the Festival Of Books, CicLAvia, and the Long Beach Grand Prix.

Officials with the LAPD and Sheriff's departments say they are taking precautionary measures and urging the public to be alert for anything suspicious.

Tickets for the Los Angeles Lakers' first-round home playoff games will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets or by calling (800) 4-NBA-TIX or (800) 745-3000.

There will be a maximum of four tickets per person, per game. Approximately 1,000 tickets per game will be available, John Black, the Lakers' vice president of public relations, told City News Service.

Tickets will not be sold at Staples Center.

Tickets for future rounds will be placed on sale on a round-by-round basis should the Lakers advance. The Lakers' best-of-seven first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs will begin Sunday in San Antonio, where Game 2 will be played next Wednesday.

The series will shift to Staples Center April 26 for Game 3. Game 4 will be played April 28 at Staples Center.

If a fifth game is necessary, it would be played April 30 in San Antonio. Game 6 would be played May 2 at Staples Center. Game 7 would be played May 4 at San Antonio.
