Marathon Victim’s Family Reacts to Suspected Bomber’s Capture

Posted: Updated:
WAYNE, Pa. -

Cheers of elation erupted in Watertown Massachusetts when  police called out they'd captured suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who  was hiding in a boat.

Stacey Rohrbeck and Debra Delaney shared Bostonian's joy after running in Monday's marathon. The Wayne, Pennsylvania women celebrated while watching Tsarnaev's capture Friday night live on television.

"I don't know if I  can say this, but we were just like (expletive)  bombers. We were just ecstatic," explained Delaney.

"Your heart was beating for them," said Rohrbeck. It was amazing."

The explosions at Monday's marathon killed three people and injured 170 others.

27-year old Jeff Bauman was raced to a hospital when the blasts took both his legs while waiting for his girlfriend to cross the finish line.

From the intensive care unit, he  reportedly may have helped identify one of the bombers.

Bauman's story prompted Philadelphia  native Bradley Cooper and

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman to visit him in the hospital.

By phone, Bauman's great aunt, Terri Bauman,  in Galloway Twp. , New Jersey shared

her feelings on the bombers' capture.

"I  feel relieved. I am happy that they caught him that he can not hurt

anyone else. Maybe they'll get information out of him. What would cause him to do something

so horrible."

What sparked the bombers' rage still the lingering question.

One thing  Rohrbeck and Delaney say they know is that they're not going to let a terrorists threat scare them from next year's marathon.

"We have to keep going and I  have to show my kids I'm not going to be

afraid," explained Delaney. "It shows a message to them that we're fighters and not going to let the bad guys win."
