WINTER HAVEN (FOX 13) -

A toddler severely injured in a crash last week near a Winter Haven school has died from his injuries, police confirmed Monday morning.

Little Imani Brown was in a Chevy Cobalt with family members when it was struck by a Ford Expedition on Boys Club Road. Investigators say Brown's mother, Keri Radner, pulled out in front of traffic as she was leaving a school around 7:45 a.m.

She had just dropped off kids.

The traffic was coming from Havendale Boulevard. Another child, 3-year-old Mekhi Brown, was also injured in the crash.

Investigators say the car seats were not properly buckled into the car.
