(FOX 11) Actress Catherine Zeta Jones has checked herself into a hospital.
Her publicist calls it a "proactive move to take care of her mental health."
The Hollywood beauty will be undergoing treatment for bi-polar disorder -- a condition also known as manic depression.
It's the second known trip to a mental health care facility for the actress.
In 2011, she acknowledged undergoing treatment in Connecticut, after her husband Michael Douglas' battle with throat cancer.
Bi-polar disorder is associated with sharp mood swings and sometime erratic behavior.
