Police seek public`s help locating missing West Side teen

Police are asking for the public's help finding a teenage boy who went missing Tuesday on the West Side.

Mandisa "Jaylani" Lockhart, 15, went missing Tuesday in the 1800 block of West Maypole Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

Lockhart was last seen about 3 p.m. Tuesday leaving Westinghouse High School in the 3200 block of West Franklin Street, police said.

He is described as a 5-foot-4, 140-pound black teen with a medium complexion, reddish / brown hair and brown eyes, police said. He wears his hair in dreadlocks

Lockhart was last seen wearing black jeans, black Nike Air Jordan gym shoes, a white T-shirt with black graphics and a black blazer, according to police. He has purple braces.
