One of the sexual assaults at the University of Florida never happened.
Police say one of the women made up her story. She told officers she did it as a warning to other women that an attack could happen to them.
Earlier this week, police arrested a man and called him a person of interest in two other attacks that happened at the university.
But in a follow up interview with one of the women, she admitted that she had lied and was never attacked.
That woman may face charges.
The police department also says she may have to repay the cost of police resources used during the investigation.
