A man is dead and his roommate is suffering from life threatening injuries after deputies say the two were involved in some sort of fight. Investigators say the men were discovered in a home on Rivers Edge Drive in Orange County just before 4:00 pm Saturday afternoon.
Investigators said a co-worker was checking on the well-being of one of the victims when he found his body inside the home, that co-worker immediately called 911 and deputies responded to the home only to find a second male victim in the back of the home with life threatening injuries.
Crime scene investigators spent the day canvassing the home for clues.
"The information that we have is that two roommates got in some type of altercation one of the roommates is deceased at this time the other roommate is in the hospital we're not looking for anyone based on information that we have so far," said Det. Danny Garcia Pagan with the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say both victims were in their mid-30's - they aren't saying who was the aggressor or how the one victim was killed. The names of the victims have not been released.
