Deputies in Hernando County say they've nabbed a man who used cat food to steal pricey laptop computers.
According to the sheriff's office, Spring Hill Wal-Mart security crews began to notice that laptop computers were disappearing from the store's inventory. When they reviewed surveillance footage, they spotted a man entering the store, putting a laptop in his cart, then heading to the pet food section.
There, he would put a giant bag of cat food over the computer, hiding it. Then he would leave the store without paying for either the computer or the food.
Investigators later identified the man as Jason Alonzo Brady, 35. He faces felony charges of retail theft.
