OCALA, Fla. (WOGX FOX 51) -

A $18,000 "Daytona International Speedway"-edition golf cart has gone missing, and Marion County authorities want to know where it is and who took it.

The gas-powered golf cart was reported missing Monday from Foxwood Farms mobile home park, on the 2300 block of NW 46 Court Road in Ocala.

The 2011 Club Cadet/New Holland golf cart has the words "Daytona International Speedway" on the hood and checkered flags and flames on the hood and rear. It has larger tires than a regular golf cart and is estimated to be worth $18,000.

The golf cart was chained to a tree. Investigators found a yellow metal chain that had been cut and left near the tree.

Anyone with information on its location is asked to submit anonymous Crime Stoppers tips by phone to 368-STOP, by texting 274637 using keyword 368STOP or going to OcalaCrimeStoppers.com.
