ATLANTA -- Commuters who travel through northeast Atlanta and around Emory University need to plan for extra time on Monday morning.
Emory is holding their spring commencement ceremony and are expecting heavy traffic as parents, family and friends come see their favorite graduate.
Delays can be expected along Clifton, Briarcliff and North Decatur roads along nearby side streets.
The ceremony starts at 8 a.m., but officials are expecting traffic as early as 6 a.m. making the commute around the area heavier than normal for a Monday morning.
