FOX unveils lineup, new dramas and comedies

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

FOX unveiled the prime time slate for the upcoming fall and 2014 season. We found out what favorite Fox shows are returning to the lineup and what new shows will be added to the schedule.

"The Following" will be back for Season 2 and so will your favorite comedies including "Raising Hope," "The Mindy Project," and "New Girl."

New talent will sure to be discovered on "American Idol," "So You Think You Can Dance," and "The X Factor."

Five new comedies and four new dramas were introduced as well.

"Rake" follows the comedic and chaotic life of criminal defense attorney Keegan Deane played by Greg Kinnear.

"Brooklyn Nine Nine" follows a detective played by Andy Samberg and shows what happens behind closed doors of a Brooklyn precinct.

"Enlisted" is a comedy about three brothers living on a military base in Florida.

The comedian and TV host was undergoing an outpatient procedure at a clinic on the Upper East Side on Thursday when she went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, issued a statement saying her mother was "resting comfortably."
