Meijer to fill over 400 jobs at new Detroit store

Meijer, the Grand-Rapids, Mich.-based retailer says it plans to hire more than 400 employees for its new Detroit store this summer.

According to a release, positions are available in all departments from clerks and cake decorators to utility workers, meat cutters and more. Interested candidates can search for the available positions at www.meijer.com/careers.

Once on the site, click on hourly professionals, search hourly opportunities, and enter 268 in the keyword search box to see available positions.

Meijer's new Detroit store, its first in the city, will be located near 8 Mile and Woodward.
