Authorities seek missing Porterdale teen

PORTERDALE, Ga. -

Authorities are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl in Porterdale.

According to police, the mother of Tonya Galvin said her daughter was last seen at 18 Elm Street in Porterdale, Ga. on around 11:23 p.m. on May 13.

The teen is believed to have run away.

Galvin is about 5'2'' tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has blonde hair.

She was last seen in the Porterdale area, but could also be in the Covington area, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call the Porterdale Police Department at 786-2226.
