The coaster, named White Lightning, is part of an expansion of Fun Spot that will coincide with the renaming of the park to Fun Spot America.
"If you love wooden coasters or steel coasters, you have to come ride this," Fun Spot COO John Aire Jr. said.
""You're going left, right, up down, with a 90-degree turn at the end. Coming back, you're going 58 to 59 mph. It's amazing how awesome this roller coaster is," he said.
Guests can ride the White Lightning starting tonight with a $40 park arm band. The grand opening celebration to commemorate both this coaster and the opening of the park's new steel coaster, the Freedom Flyer, is Saturday, June 8.
