Dogs from Hall County hoarding case up for adoption

GAINESVILLE, Ga. -

More of the nearly 70 animals that were seized by Hall County officials may be available for adoption as early as this week.

The 67 dogs and two guinea pigs were taken into custody on May 16 by the Hall County Animal Services following an investigation into animal hoarding. A neighbor complained to officials that there were dogs running loose at a home on Bogus Road.

The two unidentified residence were cited for animal hoarding and loose animal violations.

The Northeast Georgia and the Atlanta Humane Society are working with the Hall County Animal Shelter to find all the dogs good homes.
