Woman says bulldog stolen at Lake Oconee

CHAMBLEE, Ga. -

A Chamblee woman says her beloved bulldog was stolen from a friend's home on Lake Oconee.

Kristin Eby said her 2-year-old bulldog, Liberty, disappeared on Sunday. Eby believes that Liberty would never wander away.

"She's very clingy to humans. She's not going to chase a dog off. She's not going to chase a squirrel.  She wants to be near you at all times," Eby said.

Eby has posted reward fliers throughout the Cuscowilla golf community where her canine companion was last seen.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is now involved in the search.

Eby is offering a $3,000 reward for the return of her four-legged friend.

"I just want my dog back. I don't care where she went. I don't care why someone took her and hasn't called yet.  You can have the money.  I just want my dog," said Eby.

Eby's birthday is Friday. She's hoping to be reunited with her beloved bully.
