Back seat drivers are back in the news as a new study pits women against men in the ongoing gender road wars. As you can imagine, husbands think their wives are the worst offenders and vice versa.

From gas pump to restaurant, everyone has a back seat driver story to tell whether they are victim or perpetrator.

One man's wife says, "Why did you go this way? Why did you go the long way? Are you going the scenic route again?" To which he responds, "Yes."

Another back seat driver coaches her son.  If he is going too fast, she says, "Slow down."

"I know I'm a fast driver, whatever, or I'm heavy with my feet on the breaks, so if I'm in the back and somebody else driving, I tell them to slow down," we were told by one woman. "Nine times out of ten, you know how some say don't tell me how to drive my car."

"My husband is a pretty terrible back seat driver because he thinks he knows everything. Just pretty much micro manages every single move that I make in the car," another woman said. "I usually yell at him and then it causes a big fight, so it's always fun."

"I'm not a very great driver, so I probably deserve it."

Right now the baseball diamond at the old Tiger Stadium is being used by little leaguers and even some vintage baseball teams. But that could change, even before this season is over.
