Man sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting neighbor over barking dogs
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A Flagler County man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a neighbor.
Paul Miller, age 66, was convicted of second degree murder in May. Prosecutors said Miller shot his neighbor, Dana Mulhall, five times, killing him. Miller and Mulhall had been arguing over Miller's barking dogs.
Assistant State Attorney Jacquelyn Roys said the victim's family asked Circuit Judge David Walsh to impose the maximum sentence of life in prison, without the possibility of parole.
