The body of actor James Gandolfini arrived in New Jersey late Sunday night.
Funeral services for the star have been scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
Robert Spering Funeral Home in Park Ridge, New Jersey confirms it will be held at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in Morningside Heights on Thursday morning.
A family spokesman said both Italy and the U.S. have been very accommodating, releasing this statement: "We the family would like to thank the United States government, especially Secretary Kerry and our friends at the State Department for helping us in this time of need. Our express thanks to the people at the Italy desk for working day and night on our behalf."
The 51-year-old ‘Sopranos' star died last week of a heart attack while on vacation in Italy.
