Men rob hair salon patrons at gunpoint, deputies say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Authorities are searching for two men whom they say burst into an Orange County hair salon, pointed guns at customers' heads and robbed them Sunday night.
Sheriff's deputies say patrons of the PCL Hair Salon on 45th Street near Orange Blossom Trail were forced to get down on the floor as they were robbed of money and cell phones at gunpoint.
"There is no doubt this was a traumatic event for these people," Lt. Paul Hopkins said. "The fact they were armed with guns, pointing them at people, pointing them at their heads and taking this afternoon and ruining it for a lot of people and traumatizing a lot of people is just not right," Hopkins said.
No one was seriously hurt. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
