ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

One person was taken to a hospital after a house fire destroyed an Orange County home early Monday.

The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived just before 5:30 a.m. A neighbor called 911.

Orange County Fire Rescue said it took 10 to 15 minutes to put out the fire, but the home was destroyed.

"The building is going to be a total loss," fire rescue spokesman John Mulhal said.

All three occupants got out safely from the home on Butler Drive. One was treated for smoke inhalation at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The state fire marshal is investigating.
