Former South African President Nelson Mandela remains in critical condition.  Mandela, 94, was admitted to a Pretoria Hospital on June 8 because of a recurring lung infection.  Here in Atlanta, Mandela's admirers-- including Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery-- are praying for his recovery.

Lowery told FOX 5 on Monday that except for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., he never met anyone he admired more than Nelson Mandela.

Mandela visited Atlanta in the early 1990s after serving time for fighting for the rights of black South Africans.  Lowery co-chaired the committee the brought Mandela to town.
