LAKE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

A person was hospitalized Thursday morning when a hot-air balloon became entangled in power lines as it tried to land, Lake County deputies said.

Three people -- a pilot and two passengers -- were riding in the hot-air balloon, which went down just before 9 a.m. near Bear Tracks Road and County Road 44A, near Eustis.

The pilot tells Fox 35 News that he's been flying hot-air balloons since 1969. He said he couldn't see the power lines through the trees as he tried to land.

One passenger suffered burns on a hand and was taken to a hospital. The other two are OK, deputies said.

The Federal Aviation Administration will take over the investigation.
