Jahari Like To Play Under The Sea, But Hopes For A Forever Home

This week we're playing under the sea …well, technically at Under the Sea Indoor Playground in Culver City, California…with Jahari (2010). And for the day it was, as the song says "…no troubles, life is the bubbles…each little clam here know how to jam here".

Jahari is an affectionate and friendly "little clam". And while Jahari has some speech delays, he doesn't have a problem letting you know what he likes and needs.

Jahari has a medical condition called homocysinuria (Disorder of Amino Acid Metabolism) and some developmental delays, but these are being addressed with services and he's making great progress.  Homocysinuria is a genetic condition and is not anticipated to change, but with a special diet and a strong vigilant family to ensure his needs are met while giving him some tender loving care – Jahari will be, well…happy as a clam!

Jahari is a sociable child who loves to play with other kids…and he's got a heart for sharing as well!  We're sure that there is a family up here on land that is looking for a "little clam" like Jahari, so we're casting our net far and wide in order to find the right adoptive family for Jahari.  If something about Jahari is tugging at your spirit, we want to hear it!
