Child airlifted after fall on Carnival cruise ship
PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A 12-year-old boy was airlifted off a cruise ship Thursday morning after fall, Port Canaveral Police said.
Carnival Cruise Line said the boy was injured Wednesday when he was running on the deck of the Carnival Sensation and tripped and fell. He received treatment by the on-board medical team until the ship could return from the four-day cruise.
The boy was airlifted off the ship and taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando. He has since been released. The cruise line says it is providing support for the family.
