ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Troopers are looking for the driver of a vehicle that they say struck and killed an Orlando woman walking on South Orange Blossom Trail early Thursday.

The woman, Amber Poblacion, 30, was walking on U.S. 441 near La Quinta Drive, just north of the Beachline Expressway, at about 2:43 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle traveling south on the roadway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The vehicle did not stop. Poblacion was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center but died, troopers said.

A witness to the crash told authorities that the vehicle is possibly a dark, older-model Acura with dark tinted windows.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call FHP or Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS.
