ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Summer got off to a cold start for Atlantic City's casinos, which took in 12.6% less than they did at the start of last summer.

Data released Wednesday shows the casinos won $240.2 million in June.

Table games revenue was $61.1 million, down 16.3% from a year ago, while slot revenue was $179.1 million, down 11.2% from last June.

Every 1 of the 12 casinos posted a revenue decrease in June, ranging from less than 1% at Resorts to nearly 24% at Trump Plaza.

The calendar didn't help, either. There was one additional Friday in June 2012 than there was this year.

For the first six months of the year, the casinos won $1.38 billion, down 10.7% from the same period a year ago.
