YARNELL, Ariz. -

So far, three people have been arrested -- accused of trying to take advantage of people after the Yarnell Hill wildfire.

In Tucson, a man was arrested for impersonating a firefighter during a funeral for one of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots.

In Prescott, two men accused of breaking into a home in Yarnell during evacuation orders were arrested.

Everyone really worked together to catch these guys.  They remember seeing the men walking around while everyone was evacuating.

As Yarnell rebuilds, as they mourn the loss of life, those who live on West Way can't help but feel outraged when they hear thieves prayed on one of their neighbors -- breaking into their home while everyone in town had been evacuated.

"Shame on them.  You know, in a tough time like this already it doesn't help when people come through and put a dagger in the back and then the front," said Clint Bangs.

The fire didn't burn Bangs' home, but he has water damage from the helicopter drops. He lives next door to the home robbed during evacuations.

"It's sad that it comes to that," he said.  "Terribly sad because it's a small community and everybody pretty much knows everybody."

Deputies arrested 27-year-old Dakota Slone and 22-year-old Robert Frost. Investigators say they broke into a home  -- getting in through a bedroom window and stole guns, knives, coins and jewelry, then tried to pawn everything for money.

"When you come back and it's your stuff and someone else has just taken advantage of taking your stuff, it's just disgusting," said Linda Bentley.

"There's no honor with thieves.  It's a very disgusting thing that happens and unfortunately, there are people like that," said Jerry Cochell.

While this community struggles to get basic utilities restored like power and water, deputies continue to patrol in the neighborhood to make sure this doesn't happen again.

"When something like this happens, it's devastating enough to lose your home and the loss of lives here.. we have no respect for people like that and they will be caught and taken care of," said Cochell.

Frost and Slone face burglary, theft and trafficking of stolen property charges.
