NYPD probing raising of white flags at Brooklyn Bridge

The NYPD is investigating a major security breach at the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most highly secured landmarks in New York City. Two white flags — international symbols of surrender — fluttered from poles on the stone supports that hold cables above the bridge connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. The flags had a faint appearance of the stars and stripes. The American flags that are normally up at the bridge appeared to have been removed.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

How honest are people in the valley? The company "Honest Tea" wants to find out. It would like to know whether folks would pay for a bottle of tea -- and it's all based on the honor system.

On a hot July day, a bottle of Honest Tea is just what you need. But are you honest enough to drop a buck in the box for a drink?

"It'll be interesting to see the different genders to see who puts the dollars in," says Robert Cadena.

"It'll tell you how honest your city is. We base our locations on where the people are, pick a common place... for people to come check out," says Joseph Stemmer of Honest Tea.

For 3 weeks, Honest Tea set up a kiosk outside at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale. They're testing folks in the valley. How honest are you?

"Hopefully at least more than 50 percent!"

"I say it's going to be 75 percent," says Cadena.

"In the past it's been Boston, very honest, Portland is a very honest city. Seattle always ranks high. Some of the lowest ones in the past have been Brooklyn and Los Angeles, but this year it's been very surprising the results," says Stemmer.

We'll have to wait and see whether Phoenix will set an example and follow the honor system.

The kiosk opens at 10:30 a.m. daily near the Barnes and Noble and the fountains at Kierland commons in Scottsdale.
