Man dies after he's pulled from LI swimming pool

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a man rescued from a swimming pool on Long Island has died.

Nassau County police say the 26-year-old man was found motionless in a pool in East Meadow around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Another man pulled him out of the water and performed CPR. But the victim was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later.

His name was not immediately released.
