PRESCOTT, Ariz. -

Raise a glass in honor of the 19 fallen firefighters in Yarnell. All of Arizona's breweries are coming together to create a special craft beer to honor the firefighters and to help their families.

It's the American Brown Ale -- the new beer being brewed in honor of the 19 fallen firefighters.

"All of Arizona's breweries, all 35 have come together to brew a special beer with proceeds that benefit the fallen firefighters," says Stacy Pearson, AZ Brewers Guild.

Prescott Brewing Company started the collaboration of 35 members of the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild after finding out one of their own former employees was one of the fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots.

"Joe Thurston was one of the firefighters killed. He worked for the Prescott Brewing Company for 6 years... The Prescott Brewing Company and the work that they did with Joe Thurston, they saw his career come to shape. He worked there part-time, while a part time firefighter he left the kitchen at the brewing company to be a firefighter. The firefighter community lost one of its own and the brewing company lost one of its own."

Now they're hoping supporters raise their glass while raising money for the families of the fallen.

The beer is called Heroes 19 -- and the brewing companies behind it specifically have the number 19 in mind.

"Breweries across the state donated the material they used -- 19 different hops, 19 being a significant number and they brewed an American Brown Ale. And it is going to be available across the state," says Pearson.

The beer will be available for $5 a pint at all participating breweries by the end of July.

100 percent of the proceeds go to the Prescott Firefighter Charities.
