Gov. Patrick volunteers at Greater Chicago Food Depository with Quinn

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Massachusetts governor and Chicago native Deval Patrick settled his Stanley Cup bet with Illinois governor Pat Quinn at the Greater Chicago Food Depository on Tuesday.

Patrick joined Quinn at the food bank to volunteer his time, since Chicago Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins to win the Stanley Cup this year.

The governors made a friendly wager on the 2013 NHL championship.

Good Day Chicago visited the depository to get the fact about just how much help they'll need this season and explore ways the public can give back – by serving those in need.

Greater Chicago Food Depository Vice President of Communications Bob Dolgan spoke with FOX 32 News Tuesday morning.
