Jury seated in trial for man accused in Cady Way Trail murders

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

The murders were brutal.  Two Winter Park High School boys were shot execution-style, and their bodies were left burning on the Cady Way bike trail.  On Thursday, jurors were seated in the trial of one of the accused killers.

Hector Rodriguez, 32, wore headphones to listen to an interpreter who translated, from English to Spanish, questions asked of potential jurors.  After a two-day selection process, 12 people were chosen to determine his fate.

Rodriguez is accused of helping admitted killer Jesse Davis in the murder of Nicholas Presha, 16, and Jeremy Stewart, 18.  Their charred remains were found April 15, 2012 on the Cady Way Trail in Orange County.

Davis, 31, pleaded guilty to murder charges in November and was sentenced to two concurrent life terms.

If convicted, Rodriguez faces up to life in prison.
