This happened at 45th Ave and Olive about 7:15 p.m. The boy was not wearing a helmet when he was struck by a vehicle of unknown description.

The boy was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital in critical condition. His condition has since been upgraded to serious, but non-life threatening condition.
