Lindsay Lohan attempts a comeback

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Troubled Long Island native and Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan appears to be ready to return to the limelight, in all of the right ways.

The child star turned tabloid fodder has had run-ins with the law and reportedly battled alcohol addiction, but she seemed healthier albeit a bit heavier as she co-hosted the E! show Chelsea Lately on Monday.

Lohan cracked jokes about UK singer Harry Styles and Hollywood starlet Kristen Stewart.

"Lindsay is back. She is trying really hard to make this the comeback that really is the comeback. She knows if she does it again it's really over for her," said celebrity gossip writer Rob Schuter.

The 'Mean Girls' actress was arrested on drunken driving charges in 2007.

Her recent 90-day, court mandated time in rehab was for misdemeanor charges.

Lohan is now reportedly required to attend meetings with a therapist three times a week until November.

She is currently starring in the film, "The Canyons" and is expected to appear in an eight-part series based on her life on the OWN network and will be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey.

News isn't breaking -- it's already broken apart into something completely different than it once was. And all you need are these two reliable sources to verify that fact: the millennial generation and one a few before it.It's unclear what's scarier: how much news has changed or that someone knows Joel Waldman and not Murrow, Cronkite or Brokaw. Either way, with the emergence of everything from Twitter and Facebook and alternative news websites from Mashable to Gawker.

Music is a powerful force that impacts how we feel, think and react to many things in life. Music has healing power, sets a mood and even influences how we eat and shop. Whether you're at the grocery store or shoe shopping, there's usually music on. Music is everywhere and we can listen to whatever we want.
