CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are searching for a North Side man who went missing from north suburban Highland Park.

Ronald Johnson, 21, told his mother he was going to visit a friend in Highland Park and would be home Thursday, but never arrived, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Johnson, of the 1200 block of West Lunt Avenue, took a Metra train to Highland Park, police said.

He is described as a 6-foot-1, 166 pound black man with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt, tan shorts and white gym shoes.
