Burlco Police Search For Pennsauken Fugitive

Abrifa Hunt Abrifa Hunt

Police in Burlington County are reaching out to the public for help in locating Abrifa U. Hunt, 36, who is wanted for the attempted murder of a man in Beverly City.

Hunt has been charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a weapon for the stabbing of a Beverly man in the early morning ours of July 30.  The crime took place on the 300 block of Front Street.

Hunt is also known as Umar Hunt.  He is described as a heavyset black male, approximately 220 pounds and is 5'10".  The victim was flown to a Camden hospital where he was treated and later released.

If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of hunt, they are asked to call 911 or the Burlington County Sheriff's Department fugitive line at 609-265-5943.
