Fog slows search for missing tuber on Chattahoochee

ROSWELL, Ga. -

A thick blanket of early morning fog slowed search efforts Wednesday as volunteers and law enforcement prepared to resume their search for a man who went under while tubing on the Chattahoochee River the day before.

Authorities say the man – whose identity has not been released – was on the river with his friends when he tired from going from one tube to another and suddenly went under water.

Search-and-rescue crews from Roswell and Sandy Springs fire departments are all taking part in the search. The National Park Service is also part of the effort to search a two-mile area  as it entered day two on Wednesday.
