Enjoy the tastes, sounds and sights on India at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi this Saturday. India Day celebrates the country's independence day, history and culture. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and is free for the entire family.

Enjoy summertime fun at the 22nd Annual Milford Memories summer festival. Along with the art, music and food, there is also a fun run, basketball tournament and canoe race. You can take part in the family friendly activities all weekend long.

Kid Rock kicks off his massive $20 Best Night Ever summer tour at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Friday. Just to make sure no one misses out, he is performing several shows through August 20. Be sure to get there early. The opening act is ZZ Top.

There is no better way to celebrate summer than with hot ribs and cool music. So get ready for the 18th Annual Ribs and R&B Music Festival all weekend long at Hart Plaza in Detroit.

Thunder Over Michigan soars in the skies above Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti. If you are an aviation buff, you won't want to miss the show Saturday and Sunday. Tickets start at $30.

She makes you laugh on her late night cable show Chelsea Lately. Now she is taking her act live. Caesars Windsor welcomes Chelsea Handler to the Colosseum Stage Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets start at $58.
