NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The NYPD is looking for a man who drew a swastika in the elevator of Google's headquarters in Manhattan's Chelsea section.

Police say a surveillance video caught a man scrawling the swastika on an elevator button around 10:30 p.m. last Thursday.

Suspect is described as white, in his 40s, heavy set, wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Police released a photo of the man leaving the building at 76 9th Ave. shortly after the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800 577-TIPS. Police say that all calls will be kept confidential.

Police say the man faces criminal mischief charges.  Google had not released a statement on the incident.
