ATLANTA -

The announcement that Atlanta will become the new home for the College Football Hall of Fame has football fans around the region excited about the future of football and what it will mean for fans.

On Aug 14th, we have two of the state's biggest football fans and leaders from the The Touchdown Club of Atlanta-National Football Foundation Chapter available to discuss what this special organization is doing to support football in the state and how it plans to make this region the center of the national football universe.

We hope you will take advantage of this timely opportunity to "talk football" with one of more of the TCA-NFF leaders like, Bob Rathbun, SEC Football Analyst, Voice of the Atlanta Hawks & Hall of Fame Announcer, and Art Eckman, former ESPN broadcaster and assistant Media Director for Kennesaw State University.

In its 75th year, the Touchdown Club of Atlanta is the oldest independent Touchdown Club in the Country and recently merged with the National Football Foundation Atlanta Chapter, forming The Touchdown Club of Atlanta-National Football Foundation Chapter.

The organization consists of a volunteer roster of business leaders, sports marketing expert, professionals and diehard football fans.

The organization supports and promotes High School and College Football programs in the State of Georgia and the Southeast.

It holds weekly meetings to recognize High School players, coaches and teams in the Metro area, featuring prominent speakers in the football community.

The organization gives year-end awards, including the Bobby Dodd National High School Player of the Year Awards.  The tradition of giving scholarships to scholar athletes by the NFF Atlanta Chapter will also  continue and be expanded.
