Former homicide investigator weighs in on Salinas murder case

Updated:
GILBERT, Ariz. -

Police are continuing to comb the Apache Junction desert for clues after a missing Tempe college student's remains were found last week.

Adrienne Salinas' body is at the medical examiner's office as they try to find a cause of death.

Her remains were found in a wash and investigators believe they were probably moved downstream by a flood.

The movement makes evidence hard to find and complicates an already mysterious case.

FOX 10's Syleste Rodriguez talks to former homicide investigator Andy Hill about what it's going to take to solve the Adrienne Salinas case.
