PD: Suspect flees after stabbing man filling up gas tank

YUMA, Ariz. -

Yuma Police are looking for a suspect who they say stabbed a man while he was filling his gas tank late Wednesday night.

A 47-year-old man was filling up at a Chevron near 4th Avenue and 16th Street when a suspect allegedly came up to him and stabbed him.

Police say the man was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his mid 20s, bald, approximately 5'6" tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds and was wearing a black shirt and black shorts below his knees.

A $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
