Train crashes into woman's car in Kennesaw

KENNESAW, Ga. -

Kennesaw police say a woman walked away from a train crashing into her car without being injured Friday.

Police say she had stopped her car on the train tracks at a red traffic light in downtown Kennesaw, just off of Main Street. At one point, the train started bearing down toward her.

The woman told police that she panicked and couldn't drive her car off of the tracks in time. The train plowed into the rear driver's side of the vehicle. Police say the impact spun the woman's vehicle around.

But even so, she managed to walk away from the accident without any injuries.
