SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

The Florida Highway Patrol reports that 2 sisters are dead following a crash in Seminole County involving a car and school bus.

Troopers said an 11-year-old girl and her 7 year old sister in the car died. The driver, a woman, was unharmed, but another child in the car remains in serious condition.  It was not immediately clear if driver was a  parent of one or both of the children in the car.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on N. Ronald Reagan Blvd. near State Road 417.  Southbound lanes of Ronald Reagan Blvd. were blocked for several hours while troopers investigated.

There were three children on board the bus at the time of the accident.  The bus driver and the children were transported to a nearby hospital but were uninjured, investigators said.
