    A gospel song saved a 10-year-old Atlanta boy from his kidnapper. Willie Myrick said he was in his front yard and bent down to pick up money when somebody grabbed him and threw him in a car.

PHOENIX -

The FOX 10 newsroom was flooded with calls about this Monday night -- a small bright object floating in the skies east of the valley.

A lot of people posted pics on our Facebook page.

Because of the size and the reflection, a lot of people didn't know what to think -- and some thought it could be a UFO!

But Doctor Sky, our expert on such things, called to say this was some type of balloon.

We later confirmed it was a NASA research balloon launched from the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility in New Mexico. The balloon landed in Wickenburg and was picked up Tuesday.

NASA and Embry Riddle conducted the experiment.
