Thursday will be a typical summer day. Skies will be mostly sunny through the morning, but a few showers and thunderstorms will mix in by the afternoon. The storms will be nearly stationary and will dump heavy rain in the areas where they pop-up. The strongest storms will be west of I-95 late Thursday afternoon. By sunset, the showers and storms should move into West Central Florida. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the low 90s inland and the upper 80s at the coast. Temperatures will drop to the mid 70s Thursday night under partly cloudy skies.
