Overwhelming opposition to a US military strike on Syria, that after a town hall debate on military action held at Loyola Marymount University in west LA. Sponsored by KABC Radio and FOX 11 News, several panelists joined students expressing their concerns for taking military action against Syria, even after the White House claims the Syrian Regime of Bashar Assad used chemical weapons on its' own people.
U.S. Congresswoman Janice Hahn at the town hall debate, saying she does not support a military strike. Instead, she would rather give diplomats more time to address the chemical weapons' allegations at the United Nations. Hahn will vote next week as a member of the U.S. House on possible military action. Other opposition citing financial concerns, a full blown war in the Middle East as some of their reasons for strongly opposing a military response to the reported Syrian chemical attack.
